Veterans Honored at Resurrection Cemetery

Four-year-old Chase Albeck of Allentown pitched in to help honor more than 1,500 veterans buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Wescosville at the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony December 17.

Representatives of the military services presented wreaths. Monsignor Edward Coyle gave the invocation and the benediction. After the ceremony, volunteers placed wreaths at veterans’ graves.

The Wreaths Across America mission is to remember, honor, and teach. The event is held each December through coordinated wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and at more than 3,400 additional locations nationwide.
