Thousands in U.S. and Abroad Watch the Bishop’s Internet Broadcasts

Thousands of viewers from around the world have been tuning in to watch Bishop Alfred Schlert’s daily Mass, and to join him in saying the Rosary for family prayer, both from his private chapel.

Over the past few days, there have been more than 6,300 views of the Masses and of the Thursday night family Rosary event. Many are watching the events live, and others watch them online later in the day.

In addition to people in the Diocese, the broadcasts have reached viewers in Italy, Mexico, Philippines, and Malaysia, according to viewership statistics.

“I’m grateful to be able to invite people into my private chapel to join me in prayer,” said Bishop Schlert. “I’m also humbled that word has spread about this event, and pleased that others outside our Diocese are watching.”

The Bishop’s daily Mass will be livestreamed at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
