St. Joseph the Worker Parish Blood Drive for Student

A St. Joseph the Worker blood drive Feb. 23 to help a 4-year-old preschool student at the parish school who has been diagnosed with leukemia collected 105 pints, the best collection day ever for the parish's regular blood drive.

The parents of McCoy Rapa are grateful for the transfusions and the help their daughter received from Miller-Keystone Blood Center, and encouraged donors to attend the drive to help the blood center continue its lifesaving work.

For more information on the parish's blood drive, or on how to organize one at your parish, contact John Fitzpatrick at 610-530-7728 or visit www.GIVEaPINT.org.
